BLOODSIMPLE Completes Basic Guitar Tracks For New Album
November 4, 2006BLOODSIMPLE, which features in its ranks former members of VISION OF DISORDER and MEDICATION, is currently recording its second album at Machine Shop studio in Hoboken, New Jersey with producer Machine. The group's guitarist, Mike Kennedy, has issued the following update:
"We just finished our basic guitar tracks yesterday. We still need to do overdubs and shit like that but so far so good. Now we got the wookie in doin' some huge bass tracks and Tim [Williams, vocals] layin' down some vox with Machine in 'the opium den' (B room). No, they aren't smoking opium, it's just what our producer Machine calls it. By the way, I'm sure that's just due to the lack of opium in the New York/New Jersey area."
BLOODSIMPLE's debut album, "A Cruel World", was released in March 2005 on MUDVAYNE singer Chad Gray's Bullygoat label imprint (via Warner Bros.). The CD was recorded in Vancouver B.C. with producer Garth Richardson, who has previously worked with RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE, MUDVAYNE, SLIPKNOT and CHEVELLE. The album was mixed by Mike Fraser (HATEBREED).
